Your journey begins from Siliguri, where you can easily hire a private taxi or tempo traveller, depending on your group size and comfort preference. Taxis are suitable for small groups or couples, while tempo travellers are ideal for larger families or groups. Drive towards Gangtok (approx. 4–5 hours) along the beautiful Teesta River. On arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market or relaxing.

After breakfast, explore Gangtok with a local taxi or tempo traveller, which are easily available for half-day and full-day tours. Visit popular attractions like Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. These places are comfortably covered using rented vehicles.

Start early for a high-altitude excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Only registered taxis or tempo travellers are allowed on this route, and these can be arranged easily through local tour operators in Gangtok. Enjoy snow (seasonal), yak rides, and breathtaking mountain views before returning to Gangtok in the evening.

After breakfast, proceed towards Lachung as part of a North Sikkim tour. Travel is done via pre-booked taxi or tempo traveller, as special permits are required and only registered vehicles are allowed. En route, visit scenic spots like Seven Sisters Waterfall and enjoy the natural beauty. Overnight stay in Lachung.

In the morning, visit Yumthang Valley, known for its stunning landscapes and seasonal flowers or snow. Your taxi or tempo traveller (booked for the North Sikkim package) will take you to the valley and back. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok by evening.

After breakfast, head towards Pelling using a taxi or a tempo traveller. The drive offers scenic Himalayan views. Upon arrival, explore attractions like Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and Sky Walk Pelling. Local vehicles are easily available for sightseeing as well.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Siliguri. You can again hire a taxi or tempo traveller based on your group size and comfort. The journey takes around 5–6 hours. From Siliguri, continue your onward travel.
